Silence ( Anthony Evans)

Have you ever listen to a song and feel as if it was describing your current life situation, state of mind and feelings. This is how i feel listening to this song called “Silence” by Anthony Evans. I feel stuck most of the days. I’m spiritually disconected and feel as my prayers are not even being heard. All this stress me out a lot and im not at ease with myself. Talked about that with my spiritual mentor earlier today and she sent me the link to this song she was listening to while talking to me…was that a coincidence? Was it God’s way of talking to me? I don’t know… what I know is that song filled me with an overwhelming feeling, so overwhelming it almost hurt…

Here are the lyrics(the link is also below):

“Questions left unanswered

Feels like my prayers are hitting these walls

So I’m left here wondering

If you can still here me

Here me at all

I’ve been here so long

That my faith is getting weak

So I just have to believe

Maybe You’re speaking

Through the silence

Maybe it’s all I need to hear

Give me the patience

In it’s quiet

I need to rest here

And be okay To Wait

My frail souls guarded

When did I start not believing that You

(Ooh)

That You are who you

Promised you’ll be faithful to finish

What you said You would do

Although right now

I can’t hear you speaking

I will choose to believe

Maybe You’re speaking

Through the silence

Maybe it’s all I need to hear

Give me the patience

If it’s quiet

I need to rest here

And wait

For You as long as it takes

I will wait

I wait for You

As long as it takes

I will wait

Maybe You’re speaking

Through the silence

Maybe it’s all I need to hear

Give me the patience

In, in this it’s quiet

I need to rest here

Maybe You’re speaking

Through the silence

Maybe it’s all I need to hear

Give me the patience

If it’s quiet

I need to rest here

And be okay

For You as long as it takes

I will wait

I wait for You

As long as it takes

I will wait

For You”
